"Hey John, The Ham was off the hook! I gave a couple of slices to a buddy of mine who swears by honey baked. He took one bite and said and I quote!!! 'This is the Prime Rib of Ham'. I always said you have the Best Ham there is, he has your number and is going to place an order soon. Thank You."

"Hi, I just wanted to tell you how beautiful and delicious the fish that you sent to my brother and his family was..we always enjoy the smoked fish and this year was wonderful as well. Great job...great fish... thank you so very very much."

"Dear Plath's, just last week, I had a knock on the door and found that a ham from your store had been delivered. My Dad decided to send one to me for Christmas. Imagine my surprise! It brought back many memories from my childhood going to your shop. I remember saving all of my money cutting lawns and any other odd jobs I could find so that when we were in Rogers City, I could buy my own beef jerky. I would hoard the stuff! It's been pretty tough not to dig in before Christmas but i'm doing my best. Merry Christmas!"
G. Poirier – Phoenix, AZ
"Growing up with parents in Alpena and Grandparents in Rogers, Plath's was a staple. At Home Mom would have Plath's bulk sausage and bacon. At Grandmas she would fix a loin for dinner. Now 30 years later and 550 mi. away, I realize how special those tastes and smells are. Forgive me for having taken it for granted, now any visit up North includes a stop at the real old fashion butcher shop. The Sights and smells make me 9 again. My daughters love it too. Makes me happy to see that history lives on, and looks to for quite some time."
